Distance: 80.43 km - 48.97 mi
Uphill difference in height: 1406 m - 4612 ft
Maximum altitude: 1156 m - 3792 ft
We will cycle to the historic village of Borgomaro, where we will stop for a visit and a photo of the stone bridge. From here we will start the real climb to Caravonica, with its 18 km, an average gradient of 5.3% and tears in the final part of 12%. Reached Colle San Bartolomeo, we will stop for a technical stop and a coffee break before tackling 7 km of false plain up to San Bernardo di Conio and the last 2.5 km with slopes up to 12% to reach Colle d'Oggia.
After the usual photo and worn the windscreen, a beautiful descent of hairpin bends and quick changes of direction lead us first to Carpasio and then to the bottom of the valley in Badalucco. We will make a second technical stop in Taggia, a medieval village that is worth a visit. Once on the Argentina torrent cycle path we will follow it until we reach the sea and the coastal park cycle path that we will travel westwards for a quick return to Villa Giada Resort.
