Some ideas for visiting the most famous Villas and Botanical Gardens of the Riviera dei Fiori.

  • Visit Villa Grock in Imperia (15 minutes from Villa Giada), built by the famous clown of the twentieth century Grock. You will be fascinated by the unique architectural style and its picturesque gardens. The Clown Museum inside the Villa is open on Mondays from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.
  • In Sanremo (30 minutes) visit Villa Nobel and its museum, rich in scientific evidence of the experiments of the Swedish chemist. The Villa is open from Tuesday to Thursday from 10.00 to 12.30. Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 to 12.30 and from 15.00 to 18.00
  • Discover all the exotic variants of the Pallanca Gardens in Bordighera (45 minutes) and its breathtaking views overlooking the sea. The summer hours of the Pallanca Gardens are from 09.00 to 12.30, and from 14.30 to 19.00. Closed on Mondays only.
  • Still in the "city of palms" visited the Villa Regina Margherita, the Royal palace that hosted Queen Margherita of Savoy for years.
  • In Ventimiglia (50 minutes) you will find the Gardens of Villa Hanbury, visited not only for the incredible amount of plants it houses but also for the architectural style of the villa. The Gardens winter time is from 9.30am to 4.00pm. Summer is 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
